A girl seeing Ghosts, meets a man every girl with a hang for mysterious guys will get weak in the knees for, but there is more to him than met the eye, he and his sister were raised under the roof in a mansion, the mother did never let them out, alone in the dark, they only had each other, could only suck love from each other and they loved each other. 

The Mother found out and threaded them to split them ... so when the time came and she took a bath Lucille and Thomas went and smashed a chopper into her head. 

They told no one what happened. They only had each other. 

While Thomas was well educated and send to an boarding school, Lucille was send into a mad house. As they were left into society, they joint to live together. But the house was falling down, to rescue it they had to make money. And the idea in their heads formed that Thomas was to marry rich women who were solitary and with no attachment and when they were in the house, Lucille would slowly poisoning them to death.

Del Toro said they were like two moths, hanging onto each other. But One of them wants so fly, feels the desire to be a butterfly ... and as Thomas meets Edith, who is so free and goes without fear into the World even though she seems so delicate, the longing to walk with her right into lands and countries he has never seen is seed.

But the other moth would never let him go and she wouldn´t let get Edith away so easily too...

Because Love makes Monsters of us all.

Steve Jobs and the Myth that is Apple

I just recently saw `Steve Jobs´ and it was just so good. I know the visit-er numbers were bad, but I can only blame the Film Industry for that, because his Story was made so often in the last few years. See Ashton Kutcher version hasn´t been long ago. And I´d seen that one too and it wasn´t that bad. But I didn´t love it. It´s focus was more on the progress of Apple.

Were this one was just about Jobs and it still gave room for his secrets. It was a perfect mirror of Steve´s behavior and his ticks. Fassbender is so good that you sometimes think to actually see Jobs even though you don´t.

Southpaw or the the power of love ♥

I saw Southpaw yesterday and what can I say, the shoots were beautiful and gruesome at the same time. The Story is fast told really. Champion Boxer with a loose temper feels responsible for the death of his wife who died in a quarrel with another Boxer. He falls into depression - nearly kills himself, gets bankrot and only wakes up when the body of law takes his daughter away.

He starts all over from the bottom in order to get his daughter back - so he aims for the big fight with the new World Champion - former reason of the death of his wife and of cause wins and also gains the love of his daughter back crawling back his way to the top. This picture looks a lot more natural than Rocky will ever be. Jake´s movements are clearly that of a Boxer.

But even more remarkable was the performance of Hope´s daughter played by Oona Laurence, even the guy couldn´t hold his awe as she tells her Dad that it would have been better for him to die instead of her Mum.

All in all, really enjoyable. Grab your girl and go for it - she´ll like it.

Joss Whedon a Tease ?

Newest rumors on AOU are that Joss Whedon told in an interview that there won´t be a final credit scene, just one after the first credits, he said he couldn´t top the Final Credit Scene at The Avengers and wouldn´t want to repeat that, but most fans are expecting this little extra treat -
it has been a regular treat for the fans ever since the first Iron Man came out ?

And I highly doubt that Joss 'The Master' Whedon couldn´t come up with something unique for the end - several Fans will still sit it through til the very end because they accuse Joss of being a tease -

But we will see on 23th April in merely 2 Weeks, maybe he is indeed a tease and this just was a strategy to fire up the rumors and speculations about AOU.

Chappie

I am Chappie

Just what is it with these Sci-Fi Films, always repeating itself all over again, since years we get these kind of robotic Fantasy Stories, Will Smith against a robotic society and also Johnny Depp aleady put his own brain into a computer and now it´s Chappie jumping through the Story like so many Characters before, claiming to be someone or is it something ? 

And even though Hugh Jackman has immense Fan Girl points on his side, even his great acting skills couldn´t rescue the boring plot. How about a Brain Storm meeting Sci-Fi Genre ? Or is that it ? Are you already dead ? It´s sad that they seem rather to run these movies dead than revolving in new ideas and concepts, they just need take on some risks because there are so many possibilities to get some life back into this Genre. 

Mere good enough for a rainy afternoon. 

Fifty Shades Of Grey

'I´m fifty shades of fucked up'

I´m gonna be honest here, it was quite a while ago that I read Fifty, but it left me with a nice feeling, I read the first in German and was so thrilled by the end I just had to get me the 2 following books in English because they weren´t translated yet.

There were already thousands of post about this Film and the Books, claiming the story were a positive pic about a abusive relationship, how awful it were and a shame for the real BDSM Scene ...

Seriously I don´t get it, because it´s a fun Story, Mr. Grey is pretty strange for sure, unable to connect himself to another humans, but that is not uncommon in books, he is not written to be a role model for anything a Scene or a husband to be. And we already had worse, once back in the day we had something like 9 1/2 Weeks. Also a man without the ability to accept love and intimity. And there was a mere rape scene on the kitchen table, and he was abusing her trust. Success following with the Wild Orchic. Similar even with Orgies. And we also had a pretty famous one quite some years ago called The Story of O. were the woman out of love to her guy - became a slave and a mere hole for the pleasure of a lot of different man. When, where and how those men wanted her. And let´s not forget Sodom and Gomora by the great Marquis de Sade or his Justine where the girl even has to die at the end when she is totally broken and a mere puppet. That is quite some depressive literature just because is good written - doesn´t mean it´s good work. 

And as for the Scene - it was never meant to be a guide line for BDSM - he is not in it, he doesn´t visit these places and he certainly is not interested to play by their rules. But what it does is it peaks peoples interest in it. And that is a good thing if you like it or not. 

As for me, I liked the Film, I liked the Actors and the Storyline and I sure as hell will watch the sequels.

I had such high hopes but the were trempled into the ground, don´t get me wrong the idea was great, and beautifully created but the story lacked depth in the emotional department. The action sequence was great but hard to follow, it was so explosive you couldn´t seperate the bad guys from the good ones, and to boot you´re were kinda rooting for the wrong guy here, the relationship gave the total opposite vibe and left me confusing. The Whole Story line was kinda wishy-washy. 

John Fucking Wick

I just saw the whole thing and I´m still flashed, they took their time giving a slow and thoughthrough start, and then suddenly you´re part of a damn rollacoaster - and you ask yourself just how the fuck did I get here - similar to the Hero. I even would have liked more of the big explosions because I like how it vibrates even through your seat.

The Story is fast told, John´s wife dies, a day after her funeral a puppy arrives with final words of her. And a few days later someone wants his car. But John won´t give it - not knowing that that guy is the son of his former boss. He appears in John´s House kills the dog, crashes his home and beats him up. Now John is pissed to say the least. Once again he could do nothing to save that pet. Just like he could do nothing to save his wife but now is rage has a target.
Big Daddy is not happy - he knows John will kill his son - so he pays 2 Million for everyone who kills him. He get´s a few fleshwounds but that´s about it. After some amazing kill offs he get´s the son. But Daddy won´t just sit there he grabs John´s friend who saved Wick´s life quite sometimes and tortures and finally kills him and tells John about it - so John turns around and finishes also his old Boss off. And nearly dies. But as he listens to the old video of his wife on his phone she says come on, let´s go home and he crawls up and walks to a pet shop - cliping himself together and he takes one of dogs and goes home.

Imitation Game

I just went to see 'Imitation Game' last night. First thought : so awful that people can treat other people this way - genius or not. Also this is not a Biopic it´s about a period of our time, that is based on a true Story.

The Setting it self was pefect with a lot of love for small details, the Story viewing back into his childhood. Even though I found it couldn't convey the devastation Alan felt at Christopher´s death.

But the Storyline was simple and easy to follow despite complicated indications. Really my head almost smoked reading the book and trying to follow Alan´s thoughts. 
Keira was a perfect pardon to Ben always grounding his Character. The Dynamic of the whole Group was so exciting and thrilling to see how they interacted with each other.

But also the last scene of Ben and Keira before his death was just heartwrenching -
to see that he couldn´t even hold a pencil and he wasn´t even able to go under people anymore so he tried to escape his loneliness by focussing all his love on 'Christopher' the Turingmaschine ... All in all a really amazing Film. And defiantly a GO and see this amazing Story. 

And now you gotta excuse me because I´m in Fangirling Modus. I just loved everything about this movie, Benedict was just amazing and the cause for every emotion I was going through, I can´t even help myself because Keira was just perfect - so hurtful at times but still so caring - and don´t even start about Matthew Goode because God he is just wonderful and a pleasure to look at.  Of cause they were pressing a bit too much at the emotional side of Alan and I also can´t think why he would slip his secret so easily to another guy while he could go to jail for it - and after the trauma he had after Christopher´s dead at school. And nevermind the critics it´s perfect even though the ending left me hanging like a tit, like what now that was it ? Instead of finishing with all the people who were sentenced like Alan it would have been better to end just with his story and his family. But I don´t complain I´m pretty happy about the outgoing to all the people who were arrested for sexuality. Making hetero sexuals realize the injustice of the time.
