The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1

Luckily I had the opportunity to see the new Adventure of Katniss in OV ,which is pretty rare in my cinema, they said once there wouldn´t be much of an interest - well look at that screen room booked to the last seat. Either way. The Story takes off right after the last Events. Katniss borken and devastated by Peeta´s 'dead' but soon we learn he is pretty much not. The Capitol is using him as a new leading face for their cause. The Rebellion wants to use Katniss instead - and she does it under the condition that every player who is still under arrest at the capitol is getting an absolution and is not charged for their murders in the game.And of cause she gets her will. But she first has to see her home to understand that everyone apart from them has been killed in a fire storm. The battle continues either way. Katniss starts a campaign for the Rebellion. And they start to get into the Capitols System to stream their version into the live stream of the capitol.
And Kat sees that Peeta is under pain and suffer - telling her to stop, that she will kill everyone, that no one can end up as the winner in this. But Kat believes in Peeta, cause she loves him. And she thinks that they are torturing him - so they plan to free every gamer who is still in the capitol. And they manage to get them out - only that Peeta has been Brainwashed and as he see´s her he jumps her throat to strangle her. She passes out. And she hears the words in her head - what we love is what kills us. They had Brainwashed Peeta so he would kill her. And while the Rebellion is celebrating a victory Katniss walks down in the cellar seeing Peeta in a white room, bound on a bed. Screaming and tearing on his ropes, with pure fear in his face.
End.
I found they could have made that easily into one movie, there wasn´t a lot of things happen in that one, the scenery was shoot too long, a lot of tension and action was lost because of the pace it was shot. But I have high hopes for part 2 and I want to know what happens to Peeta now - and if they could really win in the end.

What is this madness

When you read my preview of Dracula Untold you will know I had mixed feelings about it. But now I want nothing more than to see it once more.
I just wished I could see it in OV Luke´s voice is so much better in the Uk Trailer. I really wished I could see the orginal tune in a cinema near by. But I will have to travel into the next big city to do so.

When I think about it, it´s not the whole movie but praticular scenes in it. And the emotion and the lines Luke says in it. But then again I hear his orginal voice in my head. But that doesn´t change the Film in the least or does it ?

The Sound is important. It´s like the smell to the food. The food is still good but not as good as with a delicious smell.

Hungry now ? Get some red wine - grab a friend and off you go into the next cinema.

Dracula Untold - or was it 'what was that' ?

Foremost I really liked the Style about it and the rythum and it´s arc. But I was confused sometime in the Story - because of the ... what should I call him a 'master vampyre' even though Dracula himself should be the 'master'?

They totally cancelled the part of which he curses the christian church and god - as a curse of immortal live of suffering brought upon himself.
And the turkish folk is made into some devilish force of beastality - not really my taste. But well wasn´t that important - cause it annoyed me more that they didn´t fear a man flying like bats ? A folk that believes in things like curses and the bad look ? Na, maybe a bit too much there.

Just like a sword fight as the highlight of all battles upon Draculas silvercoins ... really now, where were his batwings there - and then bumm in the last moment he remebers them and kills him anyway ?

And than that freaking end --- are you kidding me ? The servant part was great - knowing the book. But that the master vampyre suddenly appears saying let the games begin ... knowing he said at the beginning: Once I will call you and you will serve me ... Dracula a servant ?

Just doesn´t fit right into the Story. Also as the part were he creates other creatures - which don´t bow to his will. He is their master - ergo they will do anything he says. In the story they are the only figures at his side. As a kind of family. Protecting each other. Weird to say the least.
But Dracula as not his own Master really --- I dislike it.

On the other Hand great Mina - cute son and the fighting battles were great. The use of bats amazing. To use them as a fist raming into the ground. The sound filled the cinema like a waving vibration. So great.
And I loved the mountain were the creatures was living. The landscape was so beautiful but a bit too bright at times. It´s supposed to be night in a forest - you imagine that a lot darker with more shadows and mist. No mist by the way -

Great vision as he see´s in the dark just like you imagine a bat or a wolve would see in the dark. And also amazing scar work on Luke Evans.
Uh and great picture as he comes to rescue his son with all that thunder and clouds and weather game on ♥ finally being badass and dangerous. Somehow he didn´t have that aura killing 1.000 people in the first battle oO

All in All really enjoyable.

The Guardians of the Galaxy

The Guardians of the Galaxy is everything you hope and more. And is leaving just as much questions like Marvel likes it. A boy from earth, grown up under "head hunter" Aliens, a woman who betrays her ally, a rakoon with a bad mouth and his tree, a man on the search for revenge of the dead of his family. The Guardians. Of cause they overcome all their struggles - leaving you laughing in your seat. 

And we really see Thanos for the first time ... leaving me a bit disappointed. 

I imagined something more like this : 

 

I just hoped for broader, massive and bad and not slim for Christ Sake. But we haven´t seen that much of him yet. For his Role is quite big in the Marvel Universe so I hope for more because we know this is the former ally of Loki. Who was suppose to give the tesseract to him. But Loki owns it in Asgard.

Just like Ronan turned his back on him trying to use it himself without the actual power to use it. But in the end The Guardians can use the power of a infinity stone against Ronan and kill him. Amora the former daughter of Thanos knows that the power and controlled with more than 5 people linked by it´s use.

 Another thing I was wondering about is that The Collecter seemed to be important in this but he was rarely shown and even seemed like a weak ally. Why was a infinity stone given to him in the first place ?

And that opens the question about Loki, and the last credit Scene of Cap America II. and will Loki rise a war against Thanos ? Joining forces with Balder as different sources say ?

 Either way ... just time can tell. Maybe Avengers 2 will enlighten us next year ?!

Dracula Untold

What do you think of the Story? I first thought, well again ? The same Story all over again? And then I saw the bloody trailer - with Evans as Dragul ... just to point out I certainly don´t think it´ll come near the cultstatus of Wes Cravens Dracula - but the camera shot looks really nice even though I was clearly reminded of the Underworld.

I am just scared that they might want to make an Anti-Hero out of him. But in the least it looks a lot better then the Dracula: the dark prince movie that also formed on the true story of Dracula. But I don´t like the part where he seeks for some strange creature in a cave to turn himself into the fear of men himself - the scene of Gary Oldman full of rage cursing the church and his turning from god - was so powerful I don´t think they will come even close to the pain he displayed.

Hannibal´s 2nd Season has come to an end

And they lived happily ever after ... I wish ! That was an amazing Finale - it nearly remembered at the bloody wedding of games and thrones. One hell of a rollercoaster. And at the end you´re left hanging in the air like fruit - is there anybody not dead at the end of the season ?

What the hell Hannibal ?

As it comes down Jack is dead ... that is sure. He bleeded out far too long to get him back. Then we have Alana - who might be crushed but my hopes are not yet beyond return, we all know Will is not dead Hugh is coming back next Episode, and Graham from the book also survives this hole in his stomache, but Abigail is lost when there won´t be an ambulance the next minute of the Story ... I guess she won´t make it.

Well and there is Dr. Maurier, much longer under Hannibals influence ... his murderous bride - who would have guessed that ?

Luckily Season 3 is coming and I can´t wait for it to happen - you better hurry Bryan ...

Fannibals are waiting - and we´re not knowing for patients but sharping knifes while doing so ;-)

X Men days of Future Past

After all these years still turning everything into a fine mess. Fine like in damn fine, and if he isn´t causing the tears, this one certainly will do:

Okay just to be specific - spoilers all over the place. You keep on reading ? Here you go - you have been warned.

The sentiels are coming - and they kill every mutant they can get a hold of and every human who tries to help them. They absorb every mutant power they touch. The last circle around Dr. Xavier and Magneto figured a way to send someone back for about a day - longer than that and it would tear them apart. But Xavier and Magneto figur this is the only way to change the past and the only man who can survive this is Logan.

He has to stop Raven from killing the man who designs the Sentinels because with that she falls into their hands and they will use her DNA Code to create the Sentinels. It all begins with her.

So Logan is send back - his first adress is Charles, but he isn´t the man he thought he would be, Beast created a serum that temporary heals his bone fracture but he lost his abilities instead. The last years left a broken man behind. Being in Eric´s head, losing his legs, losing Raven - he isn´t even afraid to die anymore. His fear is manifested so hard in him he can´t endure to hear any other voices in his head.

But Logan can convince him that without him and Magneto everything is going to be destroyed. And they get a old `future´ Friend of Logan to get Eric out of prison for the kill of John F Kennedy ... no comment on that.
As Charles first see´s him - he just has to hit his face. And they can escape. In the plane Charles claims that Eric took everything from him - where Eric blames him for surpressing his powers, for all the death mutans so far he did not hear. Which he didn´t save.

Meanwhile Raven saves a couple of Mutants who are supposed to end in a labor for experiments. She is acting alone now. And she seeks the man who takes the mutants to experiment with them until they die.

They need to find Raven, but Charles is not ready - Logan can convince him to leave the drug behind, but he is too afraid, he can´t take control of his power, and Logan can´t help him - so he gives him insight to his mind, where he finds even more pain. But he can find contact to his older self...he remembers his desperation and his fear, not of the pain others cause him but of the pain within him. The fear of his own pain. But without his hope everything is lost.
In the end he manages to use cerebo but he can´t take control of Raven, he can´t stop her.
She makes it into the Doctor´s Office where she finds evidence of is monstrous experiments that costs the life of so many also of mutants of their brotherhood.

On the next days she wants to kill him, Charles wants to convince her while Eric wants to kill her in the sake of all mutants.
Talking of being damned shocked as he nearly shoots her. The Fight is filmed and the fear of mutants is getting feed - and of cause the president gives his go for the Sentnels.

Raven escapes. Eric is gone. And they have to start over. Raven finds Eric and asks him for his reasons - Eric wants to start his war against the human race - while Raven still wants to take revenge on only the Doctor.

So Xavier, Logan and Beast try to stop her - at the big press conference where the presidents tries to show strengh with the sentinels which are to a trick of Eric full of metal - he drops a motherfucking stadion across the white house and pulls the panic room to his feet and breaks the metal wall , ready with all weapons that were pointing at him - now pointing at the politic staff of the president - saying they were right to fear them and he would show how strong they really are. And he finishes off Logan. Dead in the Water. Likely?

But before he can do that Raven shoots him through his neck without killing him - and hits him into black out. She takes of his helm and says Charles he is yours. And Xavier uses him to finish the Sentinels off.
But Raven still wants to kill the man - but Charles convinces her that she can´t make those mutants alive again, but that she can make a difference now in leaving them alive - and she does.

After that they blame the man that have sold his Sentinels to the mutants and is arrested. Eric is on the run. And Raven gone.

Logan awakes in the present. Where everything seems back to day one. Everyone is alive. Jean. Laserhead. But he has no memory of the last years. He just reminds to have died. In a flashback we see Raven in the Body of the man who gave Wolverine his name.

Saying she will take care of him.

End.

Hannibal 2x12: Tome-wan

Imagine what you would like to happen, Will. Graham seems to want to convince Hannibal to kill Mason Verger. And Hannibal wants Will to join his table. Hannibal finally got what he wanted, a friend and a potential killer. Freely in his net. And still with a will on his own.

And as Will is closing his eyes ... he see´s Hannibal hanging in Masons Cave ... and he himself is cutting his throat. The blood is flushing above him and Hannibal and he watches while Hannibal is gliding into the middle of the cave ... and he slides down to get torn apart by the beastly pigs of Mason. And just as he opens his eyes and Hannibal asks him about what he did imagine - they smile at each other. Murder Husbands indeed.

As Hannibal starts his appointment with Mason he prepares a scalpel in his sleeve, Mason knows what Hannibal did, and Hannibal knows what he is capabale of. He despises him for his behavior, setting his shoes on his furniture and he's just pushing his luck as he ramms his father´s knife into Hannibals patients leather seat.

His face tells us all we need to know. Mason made it to his first list. Considering a used hankerchief on his table is rude - what degree is this then ?

They are playing their game - and the first one to blink ... is going to get killed ... is he ?

As we see Margot we see a big ugly scar on her stomache. He literally branded her. So she knows this can never be undone, as Hannibal says to her.
As Graham talks to Jack - he doesn´t tell him the truth why Hannibal manipulates him to kill Mason. Not a word about Margots aborted baby being his. They want to catch him in the act. With two or even three witnesses.

And this is the moment where Dr. Maurier is returning.And we learn Hannibal persuaded her in killing her own patient. And she thinks that Will is not in control but that Hannibal has control over him. And that Hannibal wants Jack to think that he could catch him. That he is always in control about the things around him, always thinking one step ahead - and a rabbit hole on each possibility.

Jack still eats supper with Hannibal, and just as Hannibal is cooking, Mason visits Graham. So three unfriendly men try to capture Hannibal and he ends up killing one of them - but the other man teasers him.

And Hannibal is just exactly there where Will imagined him at the beginning of the Episode. Hanging above the freaking pig maze. He is teasing the man who got him - as Mason screams 'kill him and you'll get no money', and we see Will catching his eyes. And Hannibal just watches Mason like he is such a amusing thing. And as Mason is talking - he and Will look at each other - yeah honeymoon time Darling. As Verger gives Will the knife to cut him open. Just like he dreamed.
As they look at each other - he turns Hannibal around and cuts his straitjacket open. And the man behind him knocks him out. As he awakens - a great amount of blood is on the floor around him ... but as he gets the cable construction up - he only finds the man who knocked him out. No Hannibal -

At Will´s home, Hannibal gives Mason a Drug - and just like in the books he persuades him to show him his true face -

And moments of realizion and terror and madness and absolute highness strike Mason -

Meanwhile Will is coming home, Mason sits there in the shadows feeding Will´s dogs his own face. He doesn´t even realize at the start what he is feeding them. As Hannibal appears beside Will.

And I just laughed my - you know what - off. As Mason said : I´m hungry and Hannibal answers : then eat your nose - and he does just that. And they just stand there and watching him do it - like they're watching puppy´s playing with a bone.

Hannibal offers Will the chance to kill him but he answers, he is your patient Dr., you do what is best for him. So he goes over to him and snaps his neck.

And the scene changes and we see - well what do we see ... Agent Crawford is visiting Mason Verger - he is indeed not dead. He wears a mask and his neck is hold my a metal construction - he doesn´t say who did this to him ... saying he fell and broke his neck and his pigs had eaten his face. As we know from the books he doesn´t want the police to get Hannibal, he himself wants Hannibal to suffer - to die by his will.
As Crawford leaves, Margot is entering the room, saying : What I want is to take care of you, just like you did take care of me.
And we all know she will make him suffer.

Will persuades Hannibal to reveal himself before Jack. But what will he do ?
Will he kill Jack ? Is this the end ? Will Hannibal get caught ?
Are Will and Jack alone in this ?

Hannibal Lecter nearly died last night

Uh, this Episode was rather really good if you like twisted turns, Will got the mask, Katz got cut into slices, what sadly wasn´t knew to me - saw that before in Movies like "The Cell" but it´s a really beautiful and disturbing picture. Dr. Gideon is not dead - well Hello there ! He survived Graham´s shoot. And thanks to him - Hannibal survived cause he heard Will talk to his admiring Killer - Will told him to kill Hannibal. Dr. Gideon himself a labor rat for his psychiatrists - tries to help him by telling Alana Bloom about it. 
Will feels like the murdering antlers are growing on his back - even if he doesn´t do it himself - Hannibals blood is on his hands if he dies.

But thanks to Alana and Hannibals Handy GPS - they will find him ...
The Killer a man working for the Asylum stuns Hannibal while he is swimming - he gets him out of the water - binds his arms to a cross, binds a sling around his throat and stands him on a waggly bucket. As Hannibal awakes the Killer asks him about being the Ripper and the Killer of the judge, and he reads his pupils reaction - he doesn´t need a verbal answer from him to know it. 

And just as they talk Jack and Alana come in - Hannibal suddenly screams to distrub the Killer from talking and Jack shoots the man, as he lies bleeding on the ground he still manages to kick the bucket and Hannibal falls but Jack lifts him on his shoulder while he tells Alana to get a Ambulance. 

All I can say is that this Episode was just amazing. I´m so excited for next week. Cause Crawford is starting to suspecting Hannibal. The Storm is about to begin ...

Episode 4 was a nutshell

Honey Bees ... dear god of mischief this was brilliant. Will is pleading Katz to keep looking for the real Killer, and she does even though she won´t be looking for Hannibals guilt.
Dr. Chilton can´t help himelf as Will gives him the exclusive rights on his therapy, for the exchange of not seeing Hannibal anymore and his silence about Will´s case. He wants to know what exactly  happens in Graham´s brain.
Bella is still consulting with Hannibal. And he rather encourages in her wish to die in peace. Manipulating her in believing that suicide is not a defeat rather a feeling of freedom.

Katz works with Hannibal on the Corpse without eyes who was used for a new generation of honey bees.
Dr. Chilton works with medicamentation on Will´s memory loss. What if Hannibal did just that to force Will to loose more and more of his memory ? Will remembers more and more while the flashing light burns in his eyes, Hannibal used the same flickering light to manipulate him. Inflicting him with insulitis. And Dr. Chilton starts to consider it. And he sends Hannibal away -knowing Hannibal also manipulated Graham - they know both know a secret of each other.

Remarkable is also the Scene were Bella appears before Hannibal while have taken pills to kill herself and she tells him that she don´t want Jack to find her - so she went to him. And he sits there and watches her slowly fading away and a few seconds after she has closed her eyes - he decides to rescue her and gives her a injection that wakes her up again ... of cause as she awakes in the hospital and he is there to apologize that he couldn´t do what she asked of him - she slapps him before Jack, who is just looking with granitude towards him for saving her for the time being.

Katz knows that Hannibal and Jack are at the Hospital so she decides after finding new evidence at an old case of taken organs - to investigate Hannibals flat once again and as she goes into the meatroom she drops a glas of water and the fluid floats into the floor board and she hears that the water halls back and she suspect a different room beneath her - and as she looks for it she finds it. Of cause she walks down into the darkness, pointing out her flashlight, it´s clean and neat but after she turns around a corner she sees chains and handcuffs and a surgical table in the middle of the room - but her eyes open in terror seeing what hangs in the large cage at the end of the chamber. Just as the light flackers and we see Hannibal standing behind her. She turns ans they eye each other before he turn out the light and she shoots into the dark.
And the last thing we see is a bullet hole in the floor of the kitchen. He got her.

And off we go ... next Episode Will Graham planing to kill Hannibal Lector.

Stoker

STOKER

It all starts with a Girl walking to a field. There she stands, and she tells us that she wears the blouse of her Mum, the belt of her Dad and the Shoes of her Uncle. 

And that once you understand that´s you are not responsible who you came to be and becoming an adult means to become free.

A Girl is running through the Grasses, she stops and takes her Shoe off, she´d sit and pierce the blubble she´d get by wearing no socks. She is looking for something - searching through the garden, the tennis court and as she climbs on a tree, she finds a Present with a Happy Birthday Card on it.

There is a Birthday Cake on the table - the Phone rings - 

and we hear the scream of a Woman and a Man´s name.

A Funeral the Girl and her Mum sitting in the first row. The Daughter is called India and her Father has died, just on her birthday. A close up to her Shoes, she still wears the same ones next to her Mums High heels.

And in the distance we see a man standing on the old Graveyards.

The Funeral Celebration moved into the House of the Family, India sits at a Piano and plays a softly Melody. As a Spider makes its move towards her. And as she listens to her Mum see watches the Spider silently crawling up her leg.

She went to the kitchen. She hears the Maids talking about her Dad, who did burn to crisp. They´re talking about how close India was to her father, and that rather then her Mother watch over her, it´ll be the other way around. She cracks a egg to the table and cracks it slowly open my rolling it on the table, so she can´t hear their talking anymore.

India´s Caretaker, an old Woman tries to make her smile by her jokes about her Devil Eggs. And as she goes down to clear the egg shales that had fallen to the floor, she asks India if she had grown out of her shoes and India remembers her Present Box up in the tree.

Every Birthday she had become a new Pair of Shoes of the same kind...but this time the Box was empty. But the woman tells her to look again, India had always thought that her Dad gave his Boxes to her, but know it seems it was her Caretaker all along. 

She´d found a key in the Box that she wears now around her neck. But what does it open?

The Woman doesn´t have an answer to that-

She reconizes a Voice - so she goes into the Livingroom where the Guests are standing and talking. And there is a man she doesn´t know. And her Mum introduces him as Uncle Charlie.

But she just stays silent, remembering him standing on this Graveyards at the Cemetery. Back in the litchen she remembers herself that her Father is dead.

She lies on her bed, surrounded by the Shoes that were giving to her every Year on her Birthday.

Her Uncle stands in the Private Room of his Brother, India´s Mum tell´s him how proud his Brother were on everything India had killed herself on their Hunting Adventures - he stuffed every animal of her.

And he praises that some Kinds of this birds are really hard to catch. As her Mum says rather annoyd, that they were a really good team.

India walks through the whispering and talking crowd in their House, she steals looks of her Uncle, watching as her Caretaker is stunned by the look of him. 

The watches their talk - 

Do they know each other? The Woman looks rather fearfull up to him. As he suddenly turns and their eyes met, she immediately turns away.

As she crosses his path, he turns smiling to the other direction. His eyes are following her. And while she goes he starts to follow her through the room.

But before he can catch up with her, he is disturbed and taken by her Mum.

We see India walking Outdoor. As she is coming back in through the front door. As she sits on the stairs, her Uncle speaks from the 1.st floor. He encourages her to come up and stand of the same height as him. He just looks like her father, when he was younger. How no one did ever tell her about him?

Her Mother is letting him stay in their House, but he wants to be okay with it, he says it´s important to him. And as he walks down. He starts to whistle a Melody.

In the Morning the same Melody is awakening her, her Uncle is working in the Garden. He notices her starring from above pretty fast, I think he started to work under her Window on purpose.

As she walks through the garden, she suddenly hears voices, she hides behind one of the trees and see´s how her uncle talks to her Caretaker, she says she would have been his ears, his hands, his eyes. But that she would be tired now and he says he understands - but what does that mean?

Hannibal Season 2

Now the second Episode has aired - and it was funny as hell.

I didn´t imagine they would use Hannibal like a second Will Graham, the start on the second Episode was really nasty and so well made, but a lot of things made me laugh like when Hannibal pops up at the ceiling and says Hi there I like your work,

and that he then joins him and finishes this murders work by killing the murderer and take his leg to have something for dinner.

I mean - come on - and again it looks so delicious when he cooks.
I could watch it over and over again.

And it´s also the first time the person he wants to kill manages to escape before he arrives. But who knows - he could also track her down. Like he did for Kolnass in Hannibal Rising.

But one thing is for sure - we are sat upon an amazing roller coaster. And it has only just begun.
